Props & Posture Options

Props are tools and devices that we can use to provide comfort and safety in making yoga accessible to all of our Scleroderma bodies no matter the flexibility and range of motion experienced differently by each individual.

In using props, this allows us to offer different options, variations, and expressions for yoga postures so that the individual is able to achieve the highest benefit of the posture in their unique body.

Push-up Bars


these are our #1 used and beneficial prop for folks with hand and wrist issues. If ordering these, be sure to get the smaller size.


Cotton Strap with Loops

Another fabulous tool that allows us to stretch and make postures that seem impossible - possible!


Yoga Shoes

Have issues walking on bare floors? These yoga shoes are GREAT! Keep them in your bag for class and wear them ONLY at the studio. They provide just enough cushion in the bed of the shoe while being flexible if needed. As you can, see, they work with thick socks, too!

Order a couple sizes bigger than your normally wear, as they do run small.
